I feel that the show was good because it was able to provoke different ideas and ways of doing things as we had different ways of making the costumes.
Overall I feel that the show went well, despite the setbacks of the different aspects that we had to overcome.
Next time, I would have started with more initiative than what I had started with for this Big Project, as I wasn't really sure what to expect.
What is your most important learning from this project?- That something great can come from so little to work with. I apply this to the fact that we had unconventional materials to make the costumes from.
What was the most meaningful experience for you in this project?- Being able to design the way that the characters were to look in a more modern version of Wonderland.
How do you think differently than you did before? Why? - I think that this has made me feel differently about how costumes can be made because we were told to make the costumes, out of ordinary things like plastic bags or cardboard.

Final Reflection After the Show

Progress Reflection
What is going well?
Being able to plan and think about what we can use to make our costumes out of, as well as starting to make the costumes out of recycled materials.
What could go better?
Using our time more wisely, in order to be able to make the costumes faster, as we have a deadline inn a few weeks.
What have you started/completed?
We have started with the Queen of Hearts, we have just started to make a panel for her dress, which is made from old plastic bags that have been sewed together. How we will use this in the costume is by layering the panels of bags that we have sewn together to get the full effect.
What questions do we need to ask about this?
How are we going to be able to finish all of our costumes on time?
What items are we going to need to make the costumes?
How will we manage ourselves effectively, so that we can make all of the costumes?

Reflection Week 9-
Today in Big Projects we finished our preliminary sketches of the Queen,King and Knave of Hearts and the 2,5,7 of spades. I think that this went well because we were able to design all of the characters and reflect on what we designed with our group members.
To Do-
Add to the drawings
find materials for the costumes.

Reflection
Today we were brainstorming about random and crazy ideas we could link sustainability with our designs and costumes. Our group (Petra, Cody, and me) came up with a lot of ideas most of them involving either bubbles or glow sticks or something glow in that dark. We have already decided what we wanted Alice to look like but we havent really decided what we wanted the Mad Hatter to look like because there is so many different things. We learnt that 'Wonderland' was going to be placed in New Zealand so we have to add so Maori patterns and designs into our costumes mostly the Red Queens and stuff. Not all of our ideas were realistic for Alice but some of them were do able.
Evidence of Planning
This is what we have been brainstorming for how we were going to do the costumes and how we can link Cultural , Environmental , Social and Economic Sustainability into our show.
Below is a plan of what we are thinking of doing for our costumes that we are designing:
Below is a plan of what questions we need to address when making the costumes:
